Return & Refund Policy

M/S OVERCLOCK SYSTEM

​At OCS we pride ourselves on delivering high-fidelity surveillance solutions. Because our services involve specialized hardware and technical labor, the following policy applies to all purchases and installations.

1. Hardware Returns (Uninstalled)

  • Duration: Items may be returned within 3 days of purchase.
  • Condition: Hardware must be in its original, unopened packaging with all seals intact. We cannot accept returns on items that have been unboxed, as they can no longer be sold as "new."
  • Restocking Fee: A [10-20%] restocking fee may apply to hardware returns to cover testing and inventory processing.

2. Installed Systems & Custom Work

  • Cables and Consumables: Once cables are cut and installed (e.g., Cat6 or Coaxial), they are non-refundable.
  • Labor Charges: Labor and installation fees are non-refundable once the service has been performed.
  • System De-installation: If a client requests the removal of a system, a "De-installation Fee" will be charged, and hardware refunds will be subject to an "Used Equipment" valuation.

3. Defective Products (Warranty)

  • DOA (Dead on Arrival): If a camera or DVR/NVR is found to be defective within the first 7 days of installation, we will replace it with a new unit at no additional cost.
  • Manufacturer Warranty: After the initial 7-day period, hardware is covered under the manufacturer's warranty (typically 1–2 years for brands like Cp Plus, Hifocus etc.). OCS will facilitate the RMA process, but shipping or service visit fees may apply.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

​We cannot offer refunds or free replacements for damage caused by:

  • Acts of Nature: Lightning strikes, power surges (without a recommended UPS), or floods.
  • Third-Party Tampering: Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or "DIY" configuration changes.
  • Vandalism: Physical damage to cameras post-installation.

5. Refund Process

  • Approval: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Method: Approved refunds will be processed via the original method of payment within 7–15 business days.
